Once a private chapel of the Tempest family, the sturdy little church turns its back to the modern roadway. Scalloped
Norman capitals, rare canopied niches, a leper's peep and ancient tombstones speak of centuries past, but there is
also splendid modern craftsmanship in the 'Mouseman' pews and in the remarkable tapestry, designed and executed locally by
20th century worshippers.
