Views sought on Easby conservation plan

[Friday 31 August 2007]

RESIDENTS are being asked to give their views on the best way to preserve historic parts of a Yorkshire Dales village.

Richmondshire District Council has created a draft Conservation and Management Plan for Easby, but the opinions of local people are needed before it can be finalised.

An exhibition is being held at St Agatha's Church in Easby next week, between Tuesday 4 September and Friday 7 September.

Conservation and Regeneration Officer, Ann Smith will be at St Agatha's between 12.30pm and 2.30pm and 7pm to 8pm on Tuesday to hear residents' views.

Summary documents have been produced, with the full plan and appraisal available at richmondshire.gov.uk.

For more information, contact Ann Smith on 01748 829100, or e-mail conservation@richmondshire.gov.uk
