Malham Cove
ONE of the most famous views in the Yorkshire Dales is up for sale in an area where land only goes on the market once in a generation. It overlooks world-famous Malham Cove and there are two opportunities to buy.
The land has been divided into two lots – pasture land of 26.93 acres with a guide price of £130,000 and a single meadow of 2.07 acres – and is being sold by the Skipton chartered surveyors Windle Beech Winthrop.
Our picture shows the view of the cove, which has featured on millions of post cards and tourists’ holiday photographs, from the site and/or the meadow, although the barn is not included in the sale price.
Says partner Chris Windle: “I have been surveying and selling land in Craven for some 30 years and this is one if the very rare occasion that land has come onto the market in the Malham area. The views alone make this an almost unique purchase.”
