Plenty of Dales walks throughout August

AS the Summer holidays get underway a bumper package of activities has been organised to keep visitors entertained during the busiest month of the year in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Guided walks of all types make up the majority of the events hosted by National Park Authority staff, who have made sure there is plenty to do and to see.

Walkers have a huge choice of hikes incorporating man-made and natural features to be found in the National Park.

And, for the less energetic, activities range from bat watching to a chainsaw sculpture demonstration, exhibitions at the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes to drystone walling sessions.
