Budding Artists

Penny working with Ann Forster

Budding artists had a go at sculpting as part of a special workshop held at The World of James Herriot.

Yorkshire based artist, Penny Phillips, worked with five people as they created a porcelain bird.

Her work is part of the centre’s latest exhibition with celebrates Yorkshire’s diverse landscape. She is exhibiting her porcelain sculptures of raptors, bats, kingfishers and owls which have been inspired by the landscape.

The centre is open from 11am until 4pm every day (last admission 3pm) – for more details call 01845 524234.
