THE Yorkshire Dales town of Northallerton becomes venue to a cinema once more next week.
Two films will play at the Hambleton Forum on April 4, as part of the First Friday cinema programme.
First up at 5.30pm is ‘Ratatouille’ the story of Remy, a young rat who arrives in Paris to find out that his cooking idol is dead. When he makes an unusual alliance with a restaurant's new garbage boy, his culinary and personal adventures begin despite his family's scepticism and the rat-hating world of humans.
At 7.30pm it’s ‘The Flying Scotsman’, the true story of champion cyclist, Graeme Obree, who built his bike from old bits of washing machines and won his championship only to have the title stripped from him.
The First Friday Cinema programme - run in partnership with Northallerton Rotary Club - sees two recent films shown on the first Friday of every month at the Hambleton Forum.
Tickets for each showing cost £3 and can be purchased on the door.
