Yorkshire businesses are being offered advice on how to cut waste and save money by cutting raw materials costs, refuse collection charges and the use of increasingly threatened water supplies.
The huge amount of waste generated by business has become a target for Government in its efforts to reduce carbon emissions and the country is running out of landfill sites for waste.
And although another horrendously wet summer has averted threats of the hosepipe ban imposed – and now lifted – in the North West, the ever growing use of precious water reserves is causing long-term concerns.
To help companies cut waste and water use, Business Link Yorkshire is holding a seminar at the Village Hotel, Leeds, from 9.30 am – 12.30pm on Friday, September 3.
