Step out in the Dales this spring

A full ine-up of events in the Yorkshire Dales

VISITORS and locals alike are being invited to step out in the Yorkshire Dales this spring to witness a tempting array of activities ranging from ancient lime making to bird watching - or even to study the horrors or wash day for Dales housewives before the invention of modern gadgets.

Alternatively, of course, people can just go for an accompanied walk to soak up the national park's world famous scenery.

The May programme of events organised by the national park authority includes:
