YORKSHIRE'S Garden Racecourse is all set to hold its first music event of the year next month - and race-goers are in for a bit of added X factor too.

Following the evening racing on 6th June at Ripon racecourse, the event - dubbed Rock at the Races - will feature X factor finalists Ben Mills and Eton Road.

Ben Mills is currently riding-high in the UK Charts and Ripon's event is a unique opportunity to see him in concert prior to the start of his UK tour in November. His debut album, 'Picture of You' went straight into the charts at Number 3.

Eton Road re-invented the concept of the boy band during their time in the X-Factor. Confident, colourful and unashamedly camp, they made the show fun and exciting with their own inimitable style. Their live performance is electric and features party anthems by acts such as The Scissor Sisters and Abba.

Racegoers will be able to enjoy the event at no extra charge beyond the usual gate price for the evening's racing and offers two great night outs for the price of one at this popular racecourse.

The gates open at 4.40pm on 6th June, the first race is at 6.40pm and the concert commences at 9.30pm after the last race.
