INSPIRATIONAL Yorkshire lass and farmer's wife Sally Robinson of Ample Bosom is busting to talk to local fundraisers the White Rose Ladies later this week.

Her acclaimed company, amplebosom.com, has captured the attention of Richard & Judy, Girl's Talk on Yorkshire Television and the BBC Money program, and on Wednesday she will be coming to The Rendezvous Hotel at Skipton to entertain all with her uplifting tale of diversification 'From Livestock to Lingerie'.

Many farming families have had to think of new and imaginative ways to make their business work. Very few have thought 'out of the box' as effectively as Sally Robinson. Her simple - but stunningly successful - idea has made Ample Bosom a model business.

Sally sells quality, carefully selected bras, swimwear and lingerie in an encyclopaedic range of sizes and styles to real women of all sizes, with individual ideas about style and comfort.

Her website enables women to buy at home in comfort and customers are helped to find the perfect bra in the correct size, as often many women are walking around in poorly fitting bras which fail to enhance the figure.

The White Rose Ladies meet regularly and their events support fundraising specifically for research into childhood cancers for Cancer Research UK.

Along with their sister body, the Ribble Valley Ladies they have raised an impressive £400,000 so far. The luncheon on Wednesday is open to anybody who would like to meet Sally and hear her entertaining and stirring story.

Joining Sally to speak at the event will be Christine Thistlethwaite, renowned dialect poetess and another farmer's wife originally from Yorkshire who by a quirk of government boundary planning, now finds she has been moved into Lancashire.
