Children and parents in Hambleton are being asked to have their say on future activities held at the district’s leisure centres.
They are being urged to take part in an on-line poll to help leisure officers plan the hyper holidays activity programme run during the school holidays.
The programme operates in all four centres – in Northallerton, Stokesley, Thirsk and Bedale - offering everything from art based and educational activities to sport, coaching courses and even days out away from the centres.
“New activities are being added all the time but we want to make sure that we are putting in activities that young children and teenagers will want to do,” said Leanne Dunning, Leisure Marketing Officer.
“The leisure centers are committed to keeping local children within the community entertained and giving them the chance to participate in active sessions throughout the school holidays.”
