Competition to capture Bentham life
THE residents of one Yorkshire Dales town are being invited to enter a competition aimed at capturing their lives on film.
On Wednesday (20 June), everyone in and around Bentham is invited to take photos of their life between dawn and dusk on that day.
The photos must capture an aspect of life in Bentham; its environment and community, landscapes, places of interest or simply people's daily lives.
The pictures can be creative, humorous, serious, spontaneous or planned - the only stipulation is that they are snapped on Wednesday.
The photos will be used to make an exhibition 'A Day in the Life of Bentham and its people' which will be on display during the whole of August in the Bentham Gallery, community venues around the town and online.
Everyone is able to enter and there will be prizes with a Forest of Bowland flavour for the best photos taken by over and under 14's.
Entry into the competition is free and forms are available from Bentham Gallery and Looking Well Studios in Bentham.
- The closing date for submission of photos is 30 June.
