Gervase Phinn’s new book ‘Yorkshire Journey’ published

[Monday 16 August 2010]

Gervase Phinn’s new book is “a personal tour of places which have meant a great deal to me” says the bestselling author.

In his new book Gervase Phinns Yorkshire Journey, published by the Dalesman on 29 July, bestselling author Gervase Phinn (“One of Britain’s best-loved comic writers”, Daily Mail) takes a photographic journey through his home county of Yorkshire as he revisits the favourite places from his past, from his childhood growing up in South Yorkshire, family holidays on the Yorkshire coast, to life as a school inspector in the Yorkshire Dales.

“This book represents a personal tour of the places and buildings which have meant a great deal to me,” says the Gervase, “for in a sense they define my childhood. To me they are very special places. Their story deserves to be told.”
