Following the resounding successful of their event program last year, a group of dales based are once again embarking on another ‘Players on the Road’ tour for 2009.
Starting tomorrow (16 May) the Grassington Players shows will comprise a varied evening of Keith Bromley’s bitter-sweet monologues and duologues. Performed by players with a span of ages from teenagers to septuagenarians, the ‘Talking Heads’ style pieces are mixed to offer a rewarding blend of humour and dramatic content which never fail to touch the audience.
Proceeds of the shows are shared equally between each venue and Grassington Players nominated charity for this year, the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The Players on the Road will be at:
- Saturday 16th May: Glusburn Institute
- Saturday 30th May: Colne Little Theatre
- Friday 5th June: Kettlewell Village Hall
- Friday 3rd July: Addingham Memorial Hall
