Half term fun for Northallerton kids

YOUNGSTERS enjoyed some half term theatre in Northallerton yesterday (Thursday) when the ‘Wind in the Willows’ blew into town.

Regular visitors, the Storytellers Theatre Company, brought its musical adaptation of the popular classic to the Hambleton Forum.

Children could follow Ratty, Toad, Mole and Badger’s tales of life on the riverbank and in the Wild Wood in the play. From Ratty’s picnic with Mole to the troublesome Mr Toad and his love of driving motor cars, the production entertained the young audience from start to finish.

Tonight (Friday Feb 15) Tom Owen will be recounting his ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ tales in his one man show - Treading the Boards. The show starts at 7.30pm with tickets at £12 from 01609 777070 or on the door.
