THE Tenants Farmers’ Association is launching a nationwide roadshow this autumn to help its members negotiate new rental agreements with their landlords.
This follows a successful tour last year, when landlords – who had been satisfied with lower than normal increases for several years - tried to push through much higher rents despite tenants facing soaring costs from higher fuel, feed and fertiliser bills.
The TFA was able to secure equitable rents by advising their members on negotiation tactics, a success they hope to repeat this year. The road show will meet at 7.30pm on 21st October at the Tickled Trout Hotel, Preston .
The event is free but tenants farmers should reserve a place by phoning 0118 930 6130 or via email on events@tfa.org.uk.
