CHRISTMAS came to the Yorkshire Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes this past weekend with a bumper package of festive entertainment.
We have got something for everyone throughout December and we hope people will come and see for themselves

The festive season kicked off on Saturday (9 December) with a full day of fun for all the family including crafts and gift stalls, Mother Christmas giving out presents for every youngster, children's games, quizzes and activities - and mulled wine and mince pies for the adults.
Museum Manager Fiona Rosher said: "We have got something for everyone throughout December and we hope people will come and see for themselves.
"As well as the special entertainment, there will be "drop in" crafts, activities and games for children to enjoy every day over the Christmas and New Year period.
"Mencap Christmas cards are for sale again in the museum shop and we also stock a wide variety of merchandise for those last minute presents."
Events throughout December include:
An evening concert with The Aysgarth Singers and "New Voices" under the direction of Stan and Barbara Roocroft. "A Festive Celebration in Song" will begin at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £3 and £1 (under 16s). Refreshments will be available in the interval.
Lempen Puppets will be presenting "The Shape Changer", a captivating puppet show for all the family. The hall doors will be open from 1pm and the show starts at 2pm. Tickets are priced at £5 or £3 (under 16s). Refreshments will be available.
There will be an afternoon matinee showing of "Ice Age 2 The Meltdown"
The hall doors will be open from 1pm and the film will start at 2pm.
Tickets cost £3.50 and £2.50 and refreshments will be available.

The Museum is open every day from 10am to 5pm but it will be closed on the following days: 24, 25, 26 December and 1 January.
