Flying Scotsman- The Great Vintage Rally

[Wednesday 11 March 2009]
New lease of life for Yorkshire Dales ‘green lane’

The London to Edinburgh Trial by Vintage Car will be passing through the Yorkshire Dales on the 29th March; a great photographic opportunity for the vintage vehicle enthusiast.

Cars will depart from Weybridge on 27th March, 2009, and drive a scenic route up the spine of rural England and into remote Scottish moors, making for a challenging drive in a pre-war car.

Of particular note, on Sunday 29th March, the cars will be leaving Harrogate at 07:30 and then driving through Grassington, Kettlewell, Buckden and Aysgarth Falls.

At The Falls Cafe Bar, Aysgarth Falls, it has been confirmed the cars will be stopping; with a large car parking facility and catering premises, it promises to make for a very pleasant morning.
