Voluntary artists and art groups across Richmondshire are being asked to join forces to share information and ideas.

Richmondshire District Council and Richmondshire Culture are hoping to set up an arts group - to provide regular networking meetings and look at common issues such as funding information, work spaces, regional and national programmes and training opportunities. It would also provide links to other networks and sources of information.

An initial drop in session has been fixed up for Monday February 28 when arts development officers will be available to answer questions. It takes place from 5 – 6.30pm at the district council offices in Friars Wynd, Richmond.
