THE streets of one Yorkshire Dales town will be filled with the sound of music from tomorrow as it hosts its annual Folk Weekend.
The Ingleton event attracts some of the biggest names in the folk music world and this year will run from tomorrow (6th) through until Sunday (8th October).

The narrow streets of Ingleton come alive with folk music
At a headline concert tomorrow, visitors will be entertained by John Tams featuring Barry Coope. John fared well in the 2006 BBC Folk Awards and picked up the title for best album, best traditional track and best folk singer of the year.
In previous years the festival has attracted star names such as Kate Rusby, Cara Dillon and Eliza Carthy.
Tickets are still available to see John and Barry, as are tickets to see a further headline concert on Saturday which will feature Gary and Vera Aspey. If you want to be sure of getting in then give Ingleton Community Centre a ring on 015242 41701 and tickets can be collected from the Box Office on the night.
Everything else is free over the weekend and visitors are able to come and go as they please. Events will be taking place at venues across the town, including at the Wheatsheaf, Station Inn and Craven Heifer pubs.
