West Craven plans
West Craven Together, the body set up to oversee the regeneration of the area, is hosting 'Talk About West Craven Together' in Barnoldswick Town Square.
The community led organisation was set up to bring together local knowledge, expertise and skills that can be used in breathing new life into Barnoldswick and the wider West Craven area.
Key objectives of West Craven Together include town centre renaissance, rural access, greater support for the region's tourism ventures and a clean-up of the Leeds Liverpool Canal.
"As well as supporting local organisations, WCT also directly delivers projects, including the redevelopment of the former primary school in Rainhall Road, a shop front improvement scheme, a local community chest and, more recently, a tourism programme," said Project Manager Hannah Atkinson."
A number of new projects will be unveiled by the group over the coming year.
The day runs between 10am and 3pm in Barnoldswick town square.
