The Conspirators still conspiring to succeed

[Thursday 04 September 2008]
The Conspirators
The Conspirators

Local indie band the Conspirators, who have spent this year recording and releasing worldwide, to chart success and acclaim, are playing a local, intimate Bedale show this Fri 12th Sept to warm up for what could be the gig of their lives, the following Friday, when they will 'showcase' for a number of record labels who are clammering after their signature, for the release of their first album, which the band have nearly finished recording locally.

The King’s Head will play host to the band on Friday, who will be performing their chart songs ‘Take Me To Your Leader’ and ‘Turning Green’ amongst others. Entry is free!

This local show for the band also gives them the chance to show off the bands new drummer George W, who came through a stiff round of auditions to take his place behind the drumkit.

In addition, The Conspirators are joining Ocean Colour Scene on selected tour dates, the first being at Northampton Picturedrome on Fri 26th Sept, as well as dates with The Dirty Pretty Things (Ex Libertines) in October.
