Northallerton becomes the venue for a cinema again this week.
Two films will play at the Hambleton Forum tomorrow (Friday February 4th) - as part of the ‘First Friday’ cinema programme.
First up at 5.30pm is ‘Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue’ (U) – This is the first time that Tinkerbell meets a human being. Her name is Lizzy and she believes in the power of pixie dust and the magic land of fairies. When the fairies visit to the flowering meadows during the summer, the two very different worlds come together and Tinkerbell forms a special bond with her new friend. The other fairies try to rescue Tinkerbell taking a huge risk, putting their own safety and the future of the world of fairies in jeopardy.
At 7.30pm it’s ‘Inception’ (12A) – Dom Cobb is skilled in the world of corporate espionage. It has made him a fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. He’s offered a chance at redemption with one last job if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. However Cobb and his team have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime.
The First Friday Cinema programme – run in partnership with Northallerton Rotary Club – sees two recent films shown on the first Friday of every month at the Hambleton Forum.
Tickets for each showing cost £3 and can be purchased on the door.
