Family History Workshop at Craven Museum & Gallery

[Wednesday 2 June 2010]

EVER wanted to trace your family history but don’t know where to begin?

A workshop at Craven District Council’s Craven Museum & Gallery could set you on the right path to finding your roots.

On Thursday 24 June the Museum & Gallery will be holding a family history workshop run by Katy Goodrum, from West Yorkshire Archives and family history expert, Jackie Depelle.

Participants will find out which local documents are held in the West Yorkshire Archives and how the internet can help with research. There will also be a local case study.

The workshop runs from 1 - 4pm and costs £5 per person including refreshments. Please contact Craven Museum & Gallery to book: 01756 706407, museum@cravendc.gov.uk.
