Ramus Seafoods crowned 'Independent Retailer of the Year' again
Harrogate seafood emporium, Ramus Seafoods has fought off nationwide competition to be crowned 'Independent Retailer of the Year' award at top London awards ceremony.

Independent Retailer of the Year
The award was presented by comedian Sandy Toskvig at the national Seafood Awards 2005, organised by leading industry authority, Seafish. It's the second top award for the innovative seafood retailer; it received the same accolade at the Retail Industry Awards in December.
Ramus Seafoods clearly impressed the judging panel. Seafish Chairman Andrew Dewar-Durie commented: 'It has flourished where others have struggled because of its exceptional commitment to supplying quality fresh produce, consistently high levels of customer service and a willingness to innovate and develop new products'.
Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Ramus Seafoods was established 30 years ago by Chris and Liz Ramus.
Jonathan Batchelor, director of Ramus Seafoods commented: "To win a second national award is testament to our desire to offer our customers the best possible quality seafood, whilst focusing on keeping up to date with changing consumer tastes. We are very privileged to benefit from talented service-focused employees and a loyal customer-base both of which have been instrumental in our success."
