Skipton savers' £1 million boost for NSPCC

THOUSANDS of savers with tax-free ISA accounts at the Skipton Building Society have donated a massive £400,000 to the funds of the child-cruelty body, the NSPCC.

Many Skipton savers volunteer to have 0.5% of their interest paid to the NSPCC and - with the end of the financial years calculations now complete - that has raised £126, 266 for the English society and a further £11,126 for kts sister body in Scotland in the past 12 months.

Since the Children 1st ISA was launched in 1999, it has contributed a massive £1, 129, 00.
