Wood Wizards Windmill Launch brings
Magic to the Great Yorkshire Show

Wednesday 09 June 2004

In amongst the hundreds of trade stands at the Great Yorkshire Show this year, a touch of magic can be found in the Wood Wizards fabulous replica windmill which is certain to appeal not only to the children for whom it was designed but to many wistful grown ups too!

The Windmill Interior

The 16ft high incredible playhouse, which required four men to dismantle from the Wood Wizards workshop near Skipton and to reassemble at the showground, packs in plenty of the wow factor. Wood Wizards specialise in exclusive handbuilt indoor and outdoor playhouses and bringing the windmill to the show is the company's first real launch to the public. Barry Adamson, The Wood Wizard himself, explains "It isn’t until people actually see the attention to detail and 'magic touches' that they can really appreciate how wonderful the playhouses are. Coming to the show will be a great opportunity to welcome both the big people and the little people into our newest playhouse design, the windmill."

Partner Joan Burns who is responsible for the exquisite interior furnishing of the Wood Wizards playhouses explains “Working on the windmill and sourcing suitable items for inside to bring to the show has been hard work but very rewarding. Our playhouses provide an innovative, sturdy and fun launch pad for children’s imaginations and because they are so solidly constructed they will endure so that our customer’s children’s children will be able to take the same imaginative journey in years to come!”

The Wood Wizard’s windmill can be found at Stand Number 495A, near the Food and Flower Hall. Further details of the Wood Wizards exclusive play environments including indoor designs such as the smugglers cottage, castle or shop can be found on the Wood Wizards website or by ringing Barry Adamson on 01756 794220.
