A special bus service will again be running from West Yorkshire to the Grassington Dickensian Festival. This popular event, now in its 21st year, will be held on Saturdays 30th November, 7th December and 14th December.
The service has been organised by the Yorkshire Dales Public Transport Users Group, in conjunction with Arriva Yorkshire and the festival organisers.
The service 800 bus will leave Wakefield Bus Station each Saturday at 9.35, Leeds City Bus Station at 10.10 and Ilkley Railway Station at 10.55 and 12.55. Connections are available by train from Bradford Forster Square to catch the bus from Ilkley.
Return buses from Grassington leave at 14.40 to Ilkley, and at 17.20 to Ilkley, Leeds and Wakefield.
This service provides the opportunity to either visit the festival or go walking, with no parking problems and a convivial journey.
