SETTLE Festival of Theatre is proud to present the first production in the area of two award-winning monologues by one of Craven’s most distinguished residents, Alan Bennett.

The two monologues from the "Talking Heads" series were originally written for television but provide a stunning evening of theatre.

"A Chip in the Sugar" will feature Settle Festival Director Martin Lewton and Doreen Jackson (who appeared in the Festival production of One Fat Lady) will return to play Irene Ruddock in A Lady of Letters.

The performances will take place on 28th, 29th and 30th of June and July 6th at Victoria Hall at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7.50 and £6.50 (£6.50 and £5.50 concessions) and are available from tourist information on 01729 825192 or Victoria Hall on 01729 825718.
