An Invitation to The Second Meeting of the Digital Cluster Group
This is being held at 7pm on Wednesday 20th November, at the Dalesbridge Centre.
We hope that everyone who has expressed an interest in this new future for
rural businesses will be able to attend !
Our speaker is Bill Boffin:
"Bill Boffin sold his IT related companies in 1995 after 27 years in the IT
industry. He continues to act as an advisor/consultant to a number of major
US and Japanese corporations. In 1996 he was invited to become the Chair of
the Industrial Advisory Board of the School of Informatics and then moved to
active service in the third mission arena in the Yorkshire & Humber region.
He primarily acts for the University of Bradford but also works with
Yorkshire Forward on a number of initiatives related to the Digital
Industries & Community in the region."

Meeting starts at 7pm.
Introduction to Bill Boffin who will then talk about how to set up a digital
cluster.
This will be followed at 7.20 by an opportunity to question our panel and
discuss a more formal structure to take the group forward.
The bar will be available from 8pm where sandwiches will be provided,
providing an opportunity to network with other businesses.
The Dalesbridge Centre is on the main A65, aprox' 1.5 miles North of Settle,
adjacent to Austwick. 500 yards past Harden Bridge petrol station.
