Got a bright business idea - but don't know how to develop it? If so, you should visit Harrogate this coming weekend to get expert advice on how to become an entrepreneur - absolutely free.
Yorkshire Forward, the regional development agency, is staging a major enterprise show at the Harrogate International Centre between 10 am and 4pm on April 13/14. The aim: to help people with bright ideas to set up their own businesses.
Experts in banking, accountancy, patents and international trade will be on hand to give free advice on how to turn an idea into a profitable business. There will also be seminars on subjects like e-commerce and a non-stop interactive information centre.
"This show is designed to inspire people into taking the first steps to set up in business," says Susan Johnson, the agency's director of business development.
Yorkshire Forward hopes to double the rate of business start-ups in the region by 2010.
